NECA-IBEW WELFARE TRUST FUND

Our "Fund" acting as a customer, purchases services on our behalf, to provide coverage for us.

They purchase: Medical services, legal counsel, vision services, prescription drug care, fund consultant services, and corporate office building housekeeping services, just to name a few.

There are many companies that offer these services and the "Fund" selects the best ones to provide service for us.

In order for all bills to be paid, when we the members use one of these companies the "Fund" has selected, paperwork is filled out for the services used, and sent to the provider. There are NO longer vision or dental forms. The medical claim forms are extinct with the exception being if it concerns an accident. We have some of these accident forms in the hall. Remember that once (1) time a year they will send you a form to complete in regards to your information. It is imperative that this be filled out promptly and returned to NECA. Failure to do so will only hold up any claim you may have.

THE PAPERWORK MUST BE SENT TO THE CORRECT OFFICE FOR PROCESSINGI

You will need to go to "member login." This will allow first time users to register... have ready your social security number, date of birth and the temporary password “Ibew.”  You will be able to change your password so be ready with one.   You will need to go through a similar process to register to check your “claim data” also.  It requires two (2) separate passwords for these 2 areas due new HIPA privacy laws.

If you get a message: “ID or password is not correct”, it is due to being ineligible for insurance at the current time.  Only members who are eligible are in the web database.  Information is updated on a weekly basis.  If you unsuccessfully try three (3) times to login, failing each time, you will need to contact NECA by email to have your password reset.  The email address is:  info@neca-ibew.org.  Put password reset in the subject line.
